Forging Sustainable Future for Printing and Packaging: Countdown Begins for Upcoming PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA 2023

PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA 2023 are set to be held from 20 to 23 September, 2023, at BITEC, Bangkok, in collaboration with leading industry associations in Thailand. The exhibitions will bring together over 300 companies from 20 countries, showcasing the latest advancements in the packaging, printing, and corrugated packaging industries.

With the increasing use of printing and packaging, waste is becoming a major global concern. It is crucial that we embrace biodegradable packaging and align our processes with circular economy principles and governmental sustainability policies like BCG (Bio-Circular-Green). Highlighting industry commitment to sustainable practices, Chusak Deetrakunwattanapoen, President of the Thai Corrugated Packaging Association added, “In Thailand, packaging manufacturers, irrespective of size, place significant importance on ESG principles and the Circular Economy. This stems from the recognition that ESG and Circular Economy practices positively impact customers’ purchase decisions and are environmentally friendly. Corrugated packaging aligns well with these principles as it is recyclable and reusable.

With sustainability as a focal point, a special ‘#Greenzone’ will feature eco-friendly technologies and solutions, responding to the increasing global demand for sustainable packaging practices. The market for fibre-based packaging, forecasted to reach USD503.4 billion by 2027, reflects the rising adoption of eco-friendly packaging by brand owners and consumers worldwide.

Modeled after renowned global events in their sectors, PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA 2023 provide a dynamic business platform across the entire value chain. Leading brand names such as Heidelberg Asia, Ricoh, and KURZ will be among the exhibitors, showcasing their cutting-edge offerings.

The Asia Pacific region holds one of the largest global commercial printing markets, driven by advancements in digital printing technologies.
